I got an email from Jim Lago last night and he asked me to be on the show every Thursday morning. He also mentioned being on his Saturday program. So, I called him this morning and agreed, except that Saturday morning is GOLF! We’ll discuss it more tonight. He has a plan for Saturdays, and I’ll see what we can arrange.
We talked about blogs, and he asked if I was surprised there seems to be none here in town. Yes. Corpus Christi has 275,000+ people, and all we’ve been able to locate are three personal diary-type weblogs. I’ll do some searching today between tasks.
I may also be calling on some of you, so keep those voices in good order.
Bunker, I’m in CC.
I regularly listen to JR Lago in the morning, and religiously read his website. Until I read this post from you, I had always thought Jim WAS a CC blogger.

We just got electricity and cornputers here in W. Texas but have a fair blogger representation.

Jim Lago is the only true conservative voice in the wilderness of the Sparkling City By The Sea.
Thursday is a good show and with the Bunker it would be even better.

By way of an explaination as to why CC doesn’t have bloggers…..
While have had reliable electricity for a few years, and ‘puters are not completely unknown to us, you have to remember we are a very laid back little town. We believe firmly in the principals of “mañana”.
We’ll get around to this tomorrow.

mañana
Ooops ~! It seems Bunker has a spell check that doesn’t accept Spanish words.
That was supposed to be “manana”, with the little omlat over the 1st ‘n’

Hablo Espanol tabien, pero nunca lo uso manana.
Comment by Bunker — September 16, 2004 @ 11:00 am
Yo hablar Espanol tambien poco bueno. I think it was trying to stick the (~) over the ‘n’ that confused the ‘puter.
Don’t you just love an intellectual exchange like this?
