al-Sadr

Filed under: International — Bunker @ 8:38 am

La Shawn says to Bomb The Temple! Now, is that any way for a fine Christian woman to talk?

Actually, we destroy many churches here in the US every year, or turn them into pizza parlors. The church is simply a building. The Church is the people who worship there. We destryed many churches in Europe, although we often tried not to. A target is a target.

Not so in the Muslim world.

Am I the only one who sees al-Sadr as the Iraqi version of Jesse Jackson?

  1. Al Sadr as Jesse Jackson?!

I laughed so hard my coffee ended up on my keyboard!

That Bunker, can best be defined as an exquisite analog.

    Extorting birds of a feather…

  2. Sorry. Didn’t mean to give your keyboard a bath. As I listened to an NPR report this morning, that vision simply came to me!

  3. Communication skills are an important asset in today’s world. I think that a 10,000 lb. bunker buster right on top of the shiny golden dome would send a good message.

  4. That AC-130 that’s been circling the site could take it out quickly with little collateral damage. Precision for effect!

  5. I would prefer to drop the M.O.A.B. (mother of all bombs) on it. Even though it is 75,000 lbs, I don’t think it would do that much collateral damage
