The German radio this morning estimated 40,000 Germans out of a job when the posts start closing. Cry me a river. If we relocate them to the States, that’s 40,000 new jobs for us, plus Americans paying American phone companies, electric companies, etc.
You’re right about the Poles, and the spelling! In 1939 they fought against the Germans with a massive cavalry charge, probably the last one in history.
We need to put a battalion in Poland just as a sign of thanks. Foreign aid in uniform.
