Midland

The leaders of Sudan have learned that the churches in the President’s home town don’t back down from a challenge.

In downtown Midland “Satan Is Defeated” appears on the window of the House of Refuge Ministries building.

The Sudanese ambassador to the US is likely to agree with that assessment. The article is well worth reading. It finishes with:

This is the sky-is-the-limit Christianity of Midland, preached from the deserts of West Texas and now heard in the deserts of Sudan.

I’ve only driven through Midland as one of many on I-20. But this article tells a wonderful story. Wallace could, and does, tell his own stories of life in the Permian Basin.

  1. Thanks for your mention of our efforts.

I personally am available to broker peace anywhere, but preferably Santa Fe, Taos, Hawaii or Tahiti.
