The Federalist

Mark Alexander, sometime contributor to various web sites and periodicals, is Publius over at “The Federalist”. The site has reference material on every document historically important regarding the founding of this nation and our culture.

I have been receiving email updates from Mark for some time now. At the end of last year, I made a contribution to his efforts. I won’t say how much, but it wasn’t really enough to cover what good I get from his thrice-weekly epistles.

He has been in the van for a program to distribute something special to our troops in harm’s way. Operation Shield of Strength distributes a special tag, paid for through donations and simple good will.

The dogs and I check the mail each afternoon when I get home. Today I got a nice surprise from Mark–two Shields of Strength. What a coincidence. I have two sons now in south Asia.

Thanks, Mark. And for those of you who don’t yet take advantage of the Monday Brief, Wednesday Chronicle, and Friday Digest, go here to sign up for interesting tidbits with a Constitutionalist slant. Actually (and I think Mark would agree) anything based strictly on what the Constitution says can’t be slanted.
