With interest in Mel Gibson’s movie, perhaps folks would like to know more about the medical explanation of death by crucifixion.

  3. Throughout my adult readings of the bible and books about the times of Christ, I had accumulated much of what is presented at this link.
When I heard Gibson was going to make it as realistic as ‘being there,’ I expected it to be a film that would test one’s commitment to spend 2 hours viewing what christians profess, knowing it would still be a condensed version of His last hours.
As a young teen, I often had difficulty focusing for just one hour when present during scheduled altarboy presence during ’40 hours devotion.’ I saw this as an opportunity on Ash Wednesday to be present as an adult.
