More troops to replace Italians

Filed under: International — Bunker @ 10:55 am

God bless John Howard and the rest of our Aussie allies–real allies.

Prime Minister John Howard refused to rule out sending more Australian troops to Iraq after Italy’s surprise decision to pull its 3,000 soldiers from the war-torn country.

The Anglosphere are committed to helping the Middle East enter the modern world.

  1. Bunker,

Not to be snide (I’m never snide am I?? 😉 )

But you should really clarify that by changing it to “The US, UK and Australian governments”….

Since the majority of the publics of both the UK and Australia oppose it… and the other English Speaking countries aren’t even involved. I’ll post some links on Murkyview.

Slowly but surely, the “Coalition” is degrading into what it truly represented. The aggression of one nation against the will of the world.

  2. No, I’ll leave it as is. I considered Canada when I made mention of the Anglosphere, but thought about all the Canadian forces involved in peace-keeping roles around the world and left them as included.

And I don’t think you’re correct about majorities opposing it all.
