My Boys Helped

Filed under: International — Bunker @ 5:55 am

Chrenkoff, who pulled together our “Best of Homespun Bloggers this weekend, has extensive coverage of the doings in Afghanistan. You remember, it was the place we liberated before Iraq.

Birdie was one of the forces on the ground there, and his big brother, Slice, is now on his way home from his tour. Birdie killed bad guys. Slice got citizens registered to vote. All in a two-year period.

We, as a country are pretty impressive. Our troops have done great things. Who will be this generation’s John Kerry to slander them?

  1. Yup, you’re right.

Kerry will always go after the guys who get the job done.

If he doesn’t, he looks bad by comparison.

  2. Micah Wright….

I don’t think this generation will compare to the anti-war movement in the 60’s, but Micah is the first name that popped into my head, but unless you are a political junkie, its doubtful many people have heard of him, or ever will.

  3. I’ve not heard of him. And the people listening on the fringes of this Kerry/Swift Boat argument don’t understand that their issue is more with how he handled himself when he returned to the US.
