Interesting….I’ll have to do more online research.
Viewing color photos or films of WWI or WWII for that matter gives it a new perspective when you are used to seeing all the archives in B&W. The History Channel has a film series, WWII in Color, that is excellent.

Thanks for the great link! It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes to view images in color – they are so much more real.
